How the Hearing

Inside the dream.

Imagine a dream where the bed is pushed aside. The dreamer overflowing from it. Then the ladder. The steps we make. And remake. Who comes. And goes in what light. Who carries. And leaves what stones. Who finally. Whispers I am who. Understands the voice how. It is not outside but inside the dream.

I keep watch and listen, mostly in dark places.

  2. Lol, it should be noted that I write some of these in a semi dream state while the coffee is still starting to take. I had been reading a philosopher’s take on the symbology of Jacob’s ladder and something about that was ringing around and I was chewing on it. Thanks, Jeff!
