Madness is vision unregulated,
constant sight without ceasing.
Revelation without the refreshment
of blindness can only debilitate.
The continuity is unbearable.
To love and lose, again and again.
And yet, we madly want
this madness.

You’re repeating brilliance is a little maddening! Love it!
Alex, thank you. All credit to this thought goes to Blanchot. I am just an interpreter this morning. Wishing you a great day!
But isn’t that what art is, an interpretation? Seeing things just one percent difference sets a corse that ends in a wildly different place than we’re we started.
I love this idea so much. Thank you, Alex.
Too true. I especially loved the lines “Revelation without the refreshment / of blindness can only debilitate.”
Bartholomew, thank you! Wishing you poetic revelations today.
